Run, Hide, Tell

is a portmanteau feature film of seven horror shorts written and directed by Ray Brady.  I appear in the second one entitled 'Mostly Dead' which is definitely the most frightening film I have ever made - it pushed my boundaries and challenged me as an actor like no other film has.  Ray is an amazing director.   Run, Hide, Tell will be announced at Cannes 2017.

Precious Little Things

is a new thriller from Nightpiece Media and their ninth full length feature film.  I play the role of Shirley Travors, a woman with a complex past.  'Precious Little Things' is the sequel to 'Automatically Sunshine' and should be premiered at the Nightpiece Film Festival in August of 2017.

City of Spies

is a new thriller filmed entirely in Vienna in Austria.  I  have a small role as the University Administrator - going to  Vienna to film was wonderful.  It's a gripping story in script and I can't wait to see it all on the big screen.

Horror Tales

is a portmanteau feature film of seven horror shorts written and directed by Ray Brady.  I appear in the second one entitled 'Mostly Dead' which is definitely the most frightening film I have ever made - it pushed my boundaries and challenged me as an actor like no other film has.  Ray is an amazing director.   Horror Tales will be announced at Cannes 2017.

One Way

'One Way' is a best selling e-book by Jeff Lane that is now being made into a feature film by Hours Apart Films.  I play Jan, a mysterious lady who appears mid-way into the story.  My scenes were filmed in Cambridge.  I can't wait to see the completed film which should have a London premiere in December.

The Deaths of John Smith/ The Wrong Funeral

In this new comedy feature film from Two Hats Films I have been cast as Joy, an efficient, kindly church administrator driven to madness by.....well that would be giving it away!  Joy is a wonderful straight character.  This has been a year of awesome film roles for me and Joy is another one.

Jagoda

I am very, very happy to have been cast as a psychic in this new horror film from Fighting Badgers Films.  My character Martha is a genuine psychic, not a charlatan.   I love the challenge of making horrifying things real and 'Jagonda' gave me the chance to do just that.

Going Under

In this futuristic spy thriller the UK has become a totalitarian state.  I play a creepy Doctor in the pay of the government.

The Perfect Hunch of an Agoraphobe

In this film, made by Stalwart Pictures, I play Amelia Walsh, the mother of the main character, the Agoraphobe.  She is a well intentioned person who often gets it wrong.  There was a lot of competition for these castings so it was a great start to 2013 to be cast.

Harrigan

I played the Police Radio Operator in this film.  My work was done in Twickenham Studios in an amazing audio studio.   It was extremely interesting and you can hear me in the climactic scene talking to Stephen Tomkinson.

The Cave

Filmed last September in Devon, 'The Cave' is a famous five adventure story with a lot of twists.  I play a snooty bridal shop owner who offends everyone and has a pretty odd view of life.   It is being made by Indevelopment Films whose last feature film was 'The Penalty Kings'.

An Aadvark Sang in Leicester Square

This film is still in production but I have completed my filming days at last - happily there were a lot of them. I play Gladys, a Jehovah's Witness who left the fold and is now returning.  All the characters have journeys to make, things about themselves they would like to improve.  Filmed on location in Grantham I am looking forward to seeing it.

The House of Bernarda Alba

In 2009 I appeared in Bernarda Alba on stage playing the role of Angustias.  Federico Garcia Lorca's agent attended the show and loved our production.  He gave us permission to film it as a feature but in a theatre.  The film is now in post production and will hopefully be completed soon.  It was an amazing experience.

Patient 17

This psychological thriller was filmed on location in London in 2008.  It has since been honoured at many film festivals and won awards including the Audience Award at the International Film Festival in France.  I played Hannah Waterman's mother in a flashback sequence.  I don't want to reveal the plot but it is an intensely dark, gripping story.

Death of the Virgin

My first feature film after graduating from drama school.  It was filmed in North Italy in Caravaggio and Alba mainly.  I played the maid of a small hotel, Emma, who was taken into care by the hoteliers at a young age and is basically an unpaid servant.  She has no confidence and doesn't think of leaving.  She also has an odd connection with the hotel's handyman.  I don't think any words could describe how amazing it was to make this film.  A dream come true.  I will never forget it.

Heavenly Pursuits

Rewind many years and this was the first feature film I ever appeared in.  I played a child in the specialist remedial class of teacher Vic Matthews played by Tom Conti.  I had a lot of filming days but didn't appear much in the final cut.  I didn't mind - it was wonderful to be chosen.  I was working with Scottish Youth Theatre and was spotted by the director, Charles Gormley, there.  This film was released and is still available on DVD.
